Mark Ward Sr. is a gifted
Christian communicator whom God has used as an author,
broadcaster, educator,
and speaker. He is author of seven books including two
histories of religious broadcasting, the present volume
and Air of Salvation:
The Story of Christian Broadcasting, and he has appeared
on numerous national and local Christian talk shows as a
commentator on religious media. A contributor to leading
religious and business journals, he has been a frequent
speaker at Christian writers conferences nationwide and serves
on the advisory board of the American Christian Writers
Association. As a broadcaster Mark has been producer and
speaker for four nationally syndicated daily radio programs
including The Word
Works!, stories of conversions through gospel literature
that have now been published as a book of the same name. He
has served on the faculties of two Christian universities
teaching writing and broadcasting. Today Mark lives with his
wife Donna in Greenville, South Carolina, and ministers as a
full-time independent writer. He provides communications
consulting and public relations for Christian ministries as
founder and president of Message Media Group and may be
